HoloLamp Lights are designed and produced under the exacting specifications of HoloBrands founder Peter (The Hologram Man). Peter designed these as an upgraded replacement for the Ikea Jansjo plug in type lamps which were discontinued.
HoloLamp v2 is all metal, with a 2700k (color temp) CREE type LED and an internal PCB board to keep it relatively cool and allow it to run on either battery or AC power. The incorporated heavy duty yet slim design 18" gooseneck allows the light to be positioned in virtually any position as desired. We have incorporated a ZOOM LENS which twists to widen or narrow the beam. At it's most narrow and 16" away you can expect around 1,500 lux, at it's most wide at the same distance still over 500 lux of brightness. Bright enough that we have a dimmer available (see Lighting tab for HoloLamp Accessories).
HoloLamp Version 2 (v2) are a 5 volt version with a USB-A connector that can be powered by the INCLUDED power brick (US style included though works with 110/120 or 220/240 v thus any home type AC power in the world). HoloLamp v2 also can be powered by your supplied PowerBank Rechargable Battery, with an expectation of oveer 15 hours on a 10,000mAh battery.
VARIATION EXPLANATIONS (HoloLamp v2 is modular with numerous connectors available and accessories as well). ALL VARIATIONS INCLUDE a 6' USB-A Extension cord and a Wall Wart (A/C Power Brick) with 2 prong USA type plug end AND a Dimmer which allows the lamp to be dimmed at least 20% and adds a separate on/off switch (with dimmer memory) to remove the need to use the lamp head switch:
1. Mini-Base (screw mount): This version includes an ~ 1" diameter metal attachment base with 2 screw holes, ready for affixing to one of our acrylic wall or desk displays, or screwiing directly to a wall or other surface.
2. Screw Clamp: Heavy Duty All Metal Desk/Pipe Clamp screw connects to end of goose neck. Includes one 8" Extender Rod.
3. Squeeze Clip: Heavy duty Large Metal Squeeze Clip screw connects to end of goose neck. Includes one 8" Extender Rod.
4. Large Table Base: 4.25" diameter c 3/4" thick heavy metal base with felt pad on bottom. HoloLamp screws into center (with or without included 8" Extender Rod) to make an elegant and useful Desk Lamp. (We have built the extra shipping cost into the price due to an extra pound of weight).
5. Magnetic Mount: ~2: diameter "extreme pull" neodymium magnet mount will hold HoloLamp with an 8" extender rod in any desired position! Black rubber coated for aesthetic appeal and to protect attached surfaces.
6. Wall Mount: Simple angle bracket ready for screwing to wall, holds HoloLamp gooseneck or extender rod on 20 degree angle.
7. Neilsen Frame Mount Kit: Custom built angle bracket mounts with included hardware directly to a Neilsen (or similar) metal channel frame. Also can be screwed to a wood frame. Ingenious solution (if I must say so myself, after thinking for a year how to accomplish this! ;-)
I designed this lights as an UPGRADED REPLACEMENT FOR the DISCONTINUED Ikea Janjo Lamp that I had previously used for our hologram displays.
